Byhappyme introduces another must-have for your little one's wardrobe. A soft and cosy long-sleeved wool round neck bodysuit that combines comfort and practicality, specially designed for your child's needs. The Byhappyme crew neck bodysuit is made from 100% organic merino wool, which ensures a comfortable and soft feel against the skin while providing optimal freedom of movement.
There are press studs on one shoulder to make it easier to pull the round-neck bodysuit over your child's head when changing clothes nappies. The press studs at the bottom are a practical detail that makes nappy changing easier. The material is breathable and temperature-regulating, so baby will always feel perfectly tempered - neither too cold nor too hot. The long sleeves make it warm and practical.
The bodysuit is intended as the innermost layer, but can be used in several ways. Pair it with a pair of trousers or leggings or with a jumper or small cardigan in the cold months. In the summer, the bodysuit can be worn alone on warmer days as it is breathable and the fabric is stretchy, leaving room to tumble. Many of our customers love the wool round neck bodysuit so much that they buy several so they always have an extra one on hand ready to go.
Could it be true that children who wear wool are less sick?
Studies show that wool's ability to absorb moisture may be a contributing factor, along with its ability to regulate temperature. Never too hot and never too cold - just right. Your baby won't cool down as easily after a hectic round of activity when they're wearing wool. Evidence suggests that this is the reason why woolen babies are less sick than their non-wooled counterparts.
100% organic merino wool for extra softness
The round neck bodysuit from Byhappyme is made from 100% organic merino wool, which is known for its softness and is perfect for sensitive skin as it is non-itchy. Sensitive skin is often much more comfortable with soft merino wool than regular wool. The fabric is stretchy and therefore allows full mobility with room to play and tumble.
The temperature-regulating properties of merino wool make the round neck bodysuit ideal for year-round use. The material keeps your child warm in cold environments and cool when the temperature rises by conducting heat away from the body. A crew neck bodysuit is a versatile and practical garment that is perfect for all seasons. Many of our customers get so excited about the wool round neck bodysuit that they order several at a time, so there's always an extra one in stock.
The wool bodysuit has 3 certifications - extra peace of mind for you and your baby

Airing - a good alternative to washing
To preserve the life and appearance of the wool body, airing is an excellent alternative to frequent washing. Merino wool fibres have natural antibacterial properties that prevent odours and bacteria from penetrating the fabric. This means that the bodysuit with American closure can be used several times between washes, which saves you time and reduces wear and tear, extending the life of the garment. A thorough airing is often enough and helps refresh the wool, keeping it looking and smelling great for longer. This is not only more convenient, but also more sustainable as it reduces water and energy consumption when washing. Even after many months of use, the bodysuit will look almost new if cared for properly.
Avoid soaking
Wool is a natural material known for its thermal insulation and softness, but requires gentle care. Soaking can damage the fibres of wool by weakening or shrinking them. Therefore, wash wool gently on 800 revolutions in the washing machine with mild wool detergent and avoid prolonged soaking.

Our wool series can be tumble dried, but it will keep its best appearance and shape if stretched while wet and laid flat to dry. The choice is yours, and both methods are equally correct.
Skip a wash if there are no visible stains. Wool regenerates itself, and airing it outdoors overnight can be a great alternative.
Yes, there are definitely differences, and it does matter which type of merino wool you choose for textiles.
Byhappyme uses some of the highest quality merino wool for our wool products.
When discussing wool and quality, the “fineness” of the wool quickly becomes a topic. The unit of measurement used for wool is called MICRON.
MICRON is an abbreviation for Micron, a unit used to describe the diameter of wool fibers. One micron is one thousandth of a millimeter (0.001 mm). When talking about wool, the micron measurement is used to assess the fineness of the fibers. For Merino wool, a lower micron measurement indicates a finer and softer quality.
Standard merino wool typically ranges from 20-23 microns, while fine merino wool falls between 18-20 microns. Byhappyme uses wool with a micron count of 19, placing it at the top end of the quality scale.
The finer the wool, the fewer coarse fibers it has, and therefore, it is less likely to itch. Most wool on the market today is treated to minimize itching, so the idea that wool itches is becoming a myth. However, individual sensitivity can vary.
If you find that wool itches, we recommend wearing the item for 10-15 minutes until it reaches body temperature. Once the wool is warmed to body temperature, many people find that the itching sensation disappears. Fortunately, we receive a lot of positive feedback from our customers about our Byhappyme quality. Many even express that the quality is surprisingly soft and comfortable to wear.
At Byhappyme, we are proud to offer merino wool with three internationally recognized certifications. This is quite unique in itself.
It is also important for us to demonstrate responsibility towards our customers and their well-being. Environmental considerations are, of course, also important, and with these certifications, we can show a genuine interest in minimizing our environmental impact.
All of Byhappyme's wool products are covered by these three certifications:
OEKO-TEX®: Ensures that textile products are free from harmful substances and tested for health-damaging chemicals.
GOTS: Global Organic Textile Standard guarantees organic status and socially responsible production from raw materials to finished products.
Woolmark: Indicates authenticity and quality of wool products that meet the standards for pure new wool, ensuring fiber content, durability, and comfort.
Our certifications are carefully selected and cover various criteria. If you would like to learn more, you can click through to read more about each certification.
Most natural materials shrink during washing, and merino wool is no exception. To be on the safe side, we state a maximum shrinkage of 8% in our care instructions, but our actual tests show a shrinkage of 2-3% when the item is treated correctly according to the recommendations. This is on the lower side, and we are naturally proud of it.
